Grow Pittsburgh and the Food Bank have been partnering to provide seedlings, seeds, and buckets of soil at the Food Bank’s monthly Produce to People distributions. They’re planning to add South Side’s distribution to the list this year, so they’re looking for folks with medium-high level of experience growing vegetables who can answer questions and help people pick out seedlings and seed to grow for food. It takes place on Saturday, May 24. Volunteers need to be able to arrive by 9am and stay the entire time through clean up at 1pm. Interested?
